About this event

Date:  September 21, 2020

Time: 1-3pm

Cost:  Nothing but your promise to show up fully engaged.  ?

Registration: Email [email protected].  Initially limited to three people per company.  Additional people will be put on a waitlist.

Workshop Description:

In this 2- hour interactive session you will learn about the alchemy of designing and conducting memorable visual meetings that get results. In this introductory course you will learn about what are visual meetings, visual facilitation, and why they work and why they’re so cool.  We will look at different examples and types of ways to bring in visual elements into your meetings. We will also spend time applying the basics within our virtual environment. We will also discuss how this translates into the real world and what are some of the tools of the trade.

Target Audience:

  • You would like to make your flip charts (or Zoom Calls) more attractive and animated without too much effort.
  • You would like to learn visualization, even if you (still) question whether you have any talent for it. (Anyone can do it!)
  • You have no previous knowledge or graphic skills and have not yet done any visualization training.
  • You want to take the first step on your way to becoming a Visual Facilitator, visual thinker or sketch note taker.

Space limited to no more than 20 people maximum to ensure time for interaction, questions, and discussion.

Equipment needed:

At a minimum a computer with internet access and webcam. For the best experience, ideally, you have access to an iPad with an Apple Pencil (or any tablet w/ stylus) or iPhone (kind of small).  Download the Jamboard app (Chrome | Mac | GooglePlay) ahead of time. If you have a sketchbook (plain paper will work too) and a few colored pens you can also practice using these tools and show us via webcam.
