The Art & Science of Building Relationships, Developing Skills, and Improving Performance
A recent Harvard Business Review article cited research that most managers think they are good at coaching but really, they are just telling people what to do.
Today’s environment of uncertainty and disruptive change requires more than quick decision making and an it’s easier to do it myself mentality. If leaders want increased performance, they must focus on the key driver of engagement – the leader-employee relationship.
In this two-session workshop, participants will learn the four power skills of coaching conversations and create their own plan for intentional change by learning how to:
- Listen deeply
- Ask questions instead of providing answers
- Provide feedback that recognizes strengths
- Reflect on the impact of their own behavior on the organization
