Biamp System's is currently trying to develop a Dojo or training space that represents our production lines.  This training space would be used for onboarding and cross training.  Has any within the NWHPEC community developed one before?   If so, are you willing to open your doors to a group of us to see what the space looks like?  To respond to this benchmark request, please add a comment to this post on the website or contact Tray Gibbs at [email protected].    

A-dec is looking to improve the aesthetics and visibility of the kitted parts we ship to customers. PECO/Astronics is searching for options for software that can be used for creating and managing work instructions (besides Microsoft office). The key things that we are interested in are: User friendly for those that are creating documents GUI that is simple and intuitive Collects data (times, temps, QC signoffs, barcode scans, etc…) We are looking for feedback from those who have used a software package they are happy with its product and outcome. Effective 1/1/2018, BOLI new overtime law updates mandate that employees at manufacturing/factory/mills can work no more than 55 hours a week unless they give one time consent to allow up to 60 hours a week.  Milwaukee Electronics runs 12 hour shifts 24/6 and 24/7, so this change may greatly impact our ability to cover vacation and sick leave.  How are other companies who run 10-12 hour shifts planning to handle this?
